The Studio Tour

Welcome to "The Lion's Den." When we decided to build our studio, we had to make several decisions - and sometimes it seems like decisions never end.  One of most important things is that  the studio has a warm, comfortable, inviting feel to it. In my opinion,  I'm proud to say we have achieved that goal!

So, you might be asking yourself, "Why a studio?" It looks like a bunch of computers! In part that is true most studios use computers now because  technology has perfected so many applications.

The photo's we have included only show half of the
studio - the computer half. We will be adding more photo's in the near future, so you can see all of the amenities.

Here's what we have and what we use the studio for...more than you I bet. So, read on...

Equipment: We work three operating systems;  Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Microsoft Windows 7, and last but not least, Linux Ubuntu, and an off-shoot of it, Linux Mint. We have a loaded-up Mac Mini, A custom built PC, an Acer Tower with Linux & Win 7 in it.  Oh, I almost forgot, two LED Monitors and rounding out the computer stuff is two Iomega External back-up hard drives.

We also use a Behinger Mixing board, and a Behringer set of MS 40 studio monitors, plus a pair of M-Audio Dynamic microphones for our broadcasts, and a studio condenser Microphone on a boom stand. This microphone is for voice-overs and singing.

We use our studio for our online broadcasts, like PD Talk Live. We also build our websites here, an have the capability to do others. Which we do!

We also record music in the studio! Shocked?!! What's a studio without music, right? RIGHT!

You might already know that I have been involved in music for 30-years! Most of what I've done has been for Europe.

So currently I'm writing new material for War Cry.US, as well as a extremely important new group project called "Tranquileyez."

A far cry from what I've done in the past -well, not to far, but not to close either. It's 'eavy electronic ambient music. The release we're working on is for Parkinson's Awareness month this year! That's right, we'll be doing our part to continue to relate, educate, and some even say irritate! hmph!

HOW DARE THEY!
